Culminating the Sustainability Design Lab’s second year, the spring Territories of Wood(s) exhibition highlighted students’ individual approaches to a shared aim: to discover and bring about new ways for designers to advance sustainability goals through innovative uses of wood. Sustainability Design Lab: Year Two Exhibition

On view from May 24–June 4, 2025 at RISD’s Sol Koffler Graduate Student Gallery, the Territories of Wood(s) student exhibition showcased final work examining wood not just as material, but also as a lens through which to imagine more responsible, informed, and inventive design futures.
