Kathy Ng

Kathy Ng is a playwright, director, and teacher from Hong Kong. Her theatrical work attempts to create sites of active play and mutation for the yearning, lovesick psychoblobs lurking inside each and every one of us. Recent works include Kingdom, Sky Rats, and Beautiful Princess Disorder, which received a critically acclaimed world premiere production at the Catastrophic Theatre in Houston, TX in 2025. Kathy is also a New Georges Affiliated Artist, an alum of the Clubbed Thumb’s Early-Career Writers’ Group, and a Friend of The Hearth. She has a BA and an MFA in playwriting from Brown University.
