Simone Solondz

Simone Solondz is a writer and editor who has worked in RISD’s Marketing & Communications office since 2013. Before she began writing about visual arts, she was a music journalist and editor of the independent music magazine Acoustic Guitar. She lives in Providence with her husband, three college-age children who come and go, a large dog and a small cat. She is devoted to traditional music of many kinds and plays bodhrán (Irish frame drum) at local seisiúns.
